Houston Northeast CDC extends our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended our Senior Diabetes Workshop, presented in partnership with the American Diabetes Association. We were honored to welcome so many community members for a meaningful and educational event dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles and diabetes awareness among older adults.

During the workshop, participants explored important topics including diabetes prevention and management, healthy eating habits, medication management, and the benefits of staying physically active. Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions, connect with healthcare professionals, and receive valuable resources to support their health journey.
